“Hearing loss affects the young as well as the elderly” 아닌가요? ㅎㅎ 문법 설명은 어렵지만, 문장 순서를 바꿔서 이렇게 쓰면 될 것 같아요.
어른뿐 아니라 아이들에게도 난청이 영향을 준다는 뜻 같네요.
