차들은 매우 유용한 기계이다.

컴퓨터는 매우 유용한 기계이다.A calculator is used to calculate.

=The caculator is used to calculate.

=Calculators are used to calculate.계산기는 계산하는데 쓰인다.

A book is important to students.
=The book is important to students.
=books are very important to students.

책은 학생들에게 있어서 중요하다.
제 생각에는 마지막 book의 경우는 좀어설픈 것 같기는 한데혹시 모르니 질문
