해석을 보니 academics가 ‘공부’라고 되어 있더라고요.
“when it comes to academics and employment, it is considered courteous for mothers of daughters to be sympathetic to those with sons.”에서 academics가 명사로 공부를 뜻하는 이유를 알고 싶어요.
사전에는 형용사 ‘학구적인’이나 명사 ‘교수’만 나오네요.
