일단 “The poor oxen had their ears filled with the loud complaining of the wheels”로 보면 돼요.
불쌍한 소들은 바퀴가 크게 삐걱거리는 소리를 귀가 꽉 차도록 들었다는 뜻이에요.
“with all their might”에서 might는 ‘힘’이라는 명사로 쓰였어요.
“pulling with all their might / to draw the wagon / through the deep mud”로 끊어 볼 수 있습니다.
