계속적용법 부분인데 문장구문 좀 봐주세요~

A wealthy businessman bought a baseball team, the Philadelphia Athletics, which the other manager did not think would do well.

이문장에서 which이하의 문장에서 think 라는 동사뒤에 would가 나온부분이 뭔가 생략된건가요?? 문장구조 설명 부탁드려요~

think가 5형식이라 think 뒤에it(팀)이 생략된것이 맞나요? 그럼 동사원형이 아닌 would가 오는 경우도 있나요??
