분사구문에서 시제는 어떻게 표현하나요?

분사구문과 시제가 궁금해요.
시간·조건을 나타내는 절은 미래 시제를 쓰지 않는다고 하는데, 이유를 나타내는 절은 분사구문으로 바꿀 때 어떻게 표현하나요?

예를 들어 “Since he says he is very tired today, he will not come here tomorrow.”를 분사구문으로 바꾸면 “Saying he is very tired today, he will not come here tomorrow.”인가요, 아니면 “Having said he is very tired today, he will not come here tomorrow.”인가요?
